The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of one button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal, or opt for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create low noise, which means you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the hidden bin and washes and drys mop pads and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's some clutter that must be removed frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can also clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also features a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best affordable robot vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, so you can control it even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots at this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can tweak how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
